Information:

Prounounced: Grih-beck or Grih-buck

chubby mushroom
A Gribbok is a creature that lives deep in forests and caves. They prefer moist areas with a lot of foliage
and minor human life. Their bodies tend to blend in with the environment, and some will often have
other plants growing on them, such as flowers, herbs, moss or vines.

The Gribboks mane looks like fur but is actually made of very fine threads of mushroom fibers.
Each Gribbok has a certain kind of mushroom growing in their bodies.
The holes in their bodies will let out spores, spores are also released if one were to sneeze or cough.

Sometimes a spore from another Gribbok will land on a Gribbok's mane,
if embedded in the mane long enough, this will cause the Gribbok to start growing that type of mushroom in
their mane as well.
Magic users often do this purposely so they only need to keep one Gribbok.
The only danger with this is if a parasitic or poisonous spore is taken into the Gribbok,
the Gribbok could either become infected, or assume those attributes. This may cause
some mushrooms that would commonly be seen as safe, to become toxic.

They have long tongues, but be weary of the saliva as it can be toxic or carry parasitic spores.

Magic users often try to keep Gribboks around as some Gribboks grow rare mushrooms and plants from their skin.
Infernal bolete
Gribboks are omnivorous creatures. They mainly eat small creatures, fruit and foliage.

Parasitic Gribboks are the most dangerous to keep, as a bite or scratch from one of these can
cause deadly infection.
Poisonous Gribboks are often just as dangerous as their spores are toxic to inhale
and can cause some terrible side effects.
